Chairman of Maryland Chemical Company – Fred Glose
Fred’s father founded Maryland Chemical in 1953.
After numerous years heading sales Fred took over the leadership of the company in 1964. Fred grew Maryland Chemical based on an unfailing respect and commitment to the customer, a continuous desire for innovation and a dedication to responsible and industry leading distribution. He was named Chairman in 1999 and to this day he remains involved in the strategic growth and vision making sure the trust, commitment to excellence and reliability of Maryland Chemical continues on for generations.
President of Maryland Chemical Company – Jeanette Glose Partlow
Jeanette was appointed President of Maryland Chemical in 1999. Jeanette oversaw the moving of Maryland Chemical from its historical beginnings on Russell Street to its state of the art facility. The new site incorporates many green building principles and is located in the Fairfield Industrial Ecological Park in the heart of Baltimore City’s blossoming industrial district called Brooklyn. Under Jeanette’s leadership the company became a certified Women-Owned Organization in 2005, and gained the prestigious WBENC Certification in 2012.
Vice President of Sales & Purchasing at Maryland Chemical – Katie Glose
Katie was named Vice President of Sales & Purchasing in late 2012. Katie has been with the company since 1989 and works hard to ensure that all products sourced are of the highest quality and support Maryland Chemicals commitment to its customers, the community and the environment.
