Operations- Warehouse/ Manufacturing Coordinator

Maryland Chemical Company  has an opening for a Warehouse Operations Coordinator willing to learn and work in the Chemical Industry.  The right person for this job is a team player, has a professional demeanor, enjoys interacting with customers, and is willing to go the extra mile to provide world class service to customers. The primary responsibility of this WOA will be to assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of the successful operation of our warehouse and manufacturing facility including: timely flow of product manufacturing, inventory management and order fulfillment.  Duties will include manufacturing operations, production scheduling, data entry, logistics, and quality systems.  The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills (database, word processing, spreadsheets).  Excellent detail orientation and organization skills are essential.  Experience in the chemical industry is desired but not necessary.  The position requires a person with the ability to understand and establish priorities needed to meet company goals, work independently, resolve problems effectively, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This position will allow the right individual to gain experience in all aspects of a growing distribution and manufacturing business and develop the skills necessary to grow in responsibility as the company grows.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma
  • Forklift/ Towmotor Experience
  • Willing and able to work with and around hazardous chemicals, in a safe manner
  • Computer Proficiency ( Word, Excel, Database/ AS400, Internet)
  • Solid math skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Willing and able to work in a covered, outdoor, environment at all times of the year
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Must be able to stand up to 4 hours per day
